In 2021, during my project The Year of Small Things—a journey exploring simple, soulful ways to embrace life’s beauty—I discovered painting.

What began as playful exploration soon awakened a deeper desire in me—to create with my hands, to feel colour, texture, and movement. After more than a decade as a photographer, I was drawn to something more tactile, intuitive, and direct.

Over the next two years, I experimented, played, and learned, letting instinct guide the process.

In 2024, a new body of work emerged: the series Shattered. What began as playful experimentation had become a visual language. Each fragment, each brushstroke, each colour—part of a larger story about healing and belonging. Shattered is inspired by nature and by the way we, as humans, experience life. I explore how our fragmented perceptions of the world can still form something deeply resonant. Even when we feel broken or disconnected, there is a deeper harmony that holds us together.

My art invites you to slow down, reconnect with nature, and find beauty in the imperfect, the intuitive, and the in-between spaces.
